Uncomfortable Oxford is a student-led organisation, founded in 2018 by doctoral students in History at the University of Oxford. They run weekly public engagement events highlighting legacies of imperialism, inequality, and discrimination within the city of Oxford and beyond. Their main activities are public walking tours, but they also produce an educational podcast on the history of the British Empire, and they run public lectures, workshops and other outreach events.
