Are you interested in researching the black Atlantic during the era of slavery and abolition?  Not sure where to start?

This workshop, hosted by the Bodleian Libraries and the Oxford and Empire project, will provide an introduction to the Bodleian’s collection of archives relating to the history of the black Atlantic during the era of slavery and abolition.  You will get an opportunity to work with archival documents, discuss cataloguing practices, and reflect on how the history of enslavement is recorded in archives.

This workshop is particularly targeted at 2nd year UG who are developing UG thesis topics, but all researchers – including PG, ECRs, and postholders – are welcome to attend.
